The RePause Project.

The aim of The RePause Project is to bring people together, to reconnect, to pause and to be present in the moment. We want to encourage people to go back to basics. To explore events and a community that they may normally have not even thought to try, to be open to connecting with new people and spreading the joy that can come with a cup of coffee. We want to make sure that all ages can enjoy our beverages and our events - making them affordable and inclusive for all.

Why We’re Different.

We want to help create change and we want to help educate. That’s why we have specially selected products that have proven health benefits, both mentally and physically and we want to share these properties with you. As fully qualified health coaches, we want to educate our customers about different areas of health and wellness, offer a friendly ear, create great activities and events and show off the local businesses, freelancers and offerings available.

We are an experience, a community and we’re excited to meet you!

Vision.

To become a hub for the local community – bringing people together and helping them on their journey to be more present and reconnect. To be the place where the locals search to find news and updates about local events, suppliers and businesses. From the children in the community, to the elderly, we will build a company that accommodates and helps all ages reconnect and take time for themselves.

Our Story.

The RePause Project was born during my healing and self-discovery journey, which I am still exploring. As an extremely sociable and frantic woman, who kept herself busy to avoid alone time and frequently suffered from burnout - which only got worse with a diagnosis of endometriosis & adenomyosis, lockdown was hard for me and at the end of 2021 I knew I couldn’t carry on how I was.

I was completely disconnected to my mind, body and soul, and all parts of my life were suffering. I was letting friends down, unable to nourish my body right, keep to physical activity (which I know improves my mental health) and my relationship suffered too. I went through phases of blow outs with alcohol, which would in turn affect all other areas of my body and health. It was a viscous cycle.

I decided that 2022 was the year that I focused on myself. To get as physically and mentally healthy as I could and go on a journey to reconnect to my soul - to find out what is important to me and lights me up. Having completed my Health Coach qualification in 2021, experiencing some incredible healing and innovative events and finding my incredibly inspiring tribe of people, I knew I had a calling to connect more with people, to give back to my community and utilise my previous experience of working In TV, Events and Customer Service to create my dream business – The RePause Project.
